I can't speak for anyone else, but I'm much more intrigued by the rematch of Silva vs. Sonnen than I was for their original fight. I understood the value add of Sonnen's pre-fight hype antics, but I'd by lying if I said I was a willing consumer of them. I also knew Sonnen had a chance to win that fight, but I never imagined it would go the way it did. This time it is the champion who is uncharacteristically vocal, but the challenger has the confidence of a previous performance to lean on. It is rare that the winner of a fight has to make significantly more adjustments than the loser in the rematch in order to win.
Join me at 1 p.m. ET as we discuss this upcoming fight, the public relations tour UFC heavyweight Alistair Overeem is engaging in, the legitimacy (or lack thereof) of soccer kicks in modern MMA and whatever else you want to discuss.
