UFC Octagon girl Arianny Celeste was arrested and taken into the Clark County Detention Center early Saturday morning on charges of domestic abuse, according to a report from TMZ.
According to records from the Clark County inmate database, the 26-year-old Celeste remains in custody and is being held on $3,000 bail.
UFC officials have yet to publicly comment on the matter. Celeste was scheduled to appear at tonight's UFC 146 event, taking place at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, NV.
A hearing for Celeste is slated for May 30, 2012 at 10:45 a.m.
Celeste signed on with the UFC in 2006 and has since become the longest-standing and most popular Octagon girl in the company's history, appearing in several official UFC programs and branching out extensively into modeling. She notably appeared in Maxim, FHM, Sports Illustrated and Playboy, and was the orginal host of the online-only series, UFC Ultimate Insider.
UPDATE: UFC President Dana White issued an official statement through Las Vegas Review Journal gossip columnist Norm Clarke (via Twitter): "Arianny is our baby. She has been with us for over 5 years. She's a good girl and an amazing ambassador for the UFC. I don't know all the details of what happened but we have her back and support her 100-percent."
