STOCKHOLM -- This is the UFC on FUEL 2 live blog for DaMarques Johnson vs. John Maguire, a welterweight bout on tonight's UFC event from the Ericsson Globe Arena in Stockholm, Sweden.

Johnson, who has won two of his past three fights, will fight Maguire, who won his UFC debut at UFC 138, on the main card.

Round 1: They high five to start us off, and immediately Johnson catches Maguire with a kick to the pills. Maguire steps back and adjusts his cup as if to say, ‘Please no more of that,' and the action continues. Johnson keeps after the leg kicks, but Maguire stays after him and takes him down. Oma plata attempt by Johnson from the bottom, and he rolls Maguire over with it, but ends up on his back again anyway. Maguire's looking to pass, but Johnson's doing a fine job of tying him up and making it difficult. Maguire gets to side control in the final minute of the round, then looks for a choke as Johnson tries to scramble up. Maguire takes Johnson's back with less than 30 seconds left, but can't do much with it before the horn. MMA Fighting scores it 10-9 for Maguire.

Round 2: They waste little time before getting the fight back to the floor, but this time it's Johnson who winds up on top. He pulls off a nifty little pass to get to side control and the crowd loves it. Maguire kicks him away and gets to his feet. Johnson comes back with a hard right hand that you can hear throughout the Globe. Maguire sways like a drunk at closing time, but he might be faking it just a bit. Johnson reels off several hard leg kicks and Maguire rolls his eyes like he's just sick of it all. Good body shot by Johnson, and Maguire looks like he's in trouble. Instead of keeping up the punishment, however, Johnson grabs a front headlock and we go back to the grappling match. He might regret that. Maguire recovers and gets to side control, then immediately spins into a clever straight armbar. Johnson has nowhere to go, so he has to tap. He sits up cursing to himself as Maguire runs off to celebrate with his team.
