Whenever his fight with Khabib Nurmagomedov happens, you can be sure that Tony Ferguson will be ready.
UFC President Dana White vowed that the highly anticipated bout between the world’s top two lightweights will happen on April 18, though it’s unclear if the UFC 249 main event will still take place in Brooklyn as the coronavirus has wreaked havoc on the schedule of major organizations and events across the globe.
On Monday, Ferguson shared a typically intense clip of himself going to town on a training apparatus, including an overhead suplex that would make his former training partner and Ultimate Fighter 13 coach Brock Lesnar proud.

In the clip, Ferguson can also be seen executing a pair of NFL-level tackles that would undoubtedly come in handy in his matchup with Nurmagomedov, plus an overhead flip that... well, the purpose of that maneuver is unclear.
Credit to Ferguson for practicing proper social distancing as well, though it’s unlikely that there are any training partners who would volunteer to be on the receiving end of this treatment under even the best circumstances.
