LAS VEGAS -- This is the UFC 146 live blog for Roy Nelson vs. Dave Herman, a heavyweight bout on tonight's UFC event from the MGM Grand.
Nelson, who has lost three of his last four fights, will face Herman, who is 1-1 in his UFC career, on the main card.

Round 1: Steve Mazzagatti will ref this one. Herman gets us started with a series of push kicks that keep Nelson at a distance. Nelson picks his spot and lunges in with a looping overhand right that spins Herman around and drops him to his knees. He follows up with a couple more rights, but Mazzagatti is already on his way in to stop it. Herman gets up right away, swaying gently as he protests the stoppage.
