"Lightning" Lee Murray is a former street fighter from London, England turned mixed martial arts fighter who eventually earned fame as a bank robber. He was sentenced to ten years in jail in June of 2010 for a 2006 crime where he and other accomplices took £53 million in an armed raid in Kent, UK. The heist was an international incident covered widely by media of all countries. Time, Inc. announced in 2008 a movie is being made about Murray and the theft. Murray amassed a career mixed martial arts of 12-2. He holds notable wins over the UFC's Jorge Rivera and "Pele" Jose Landi-Jons. He has a notable loss, his last fight, to current UFC middleweight champion Anderson Silva.
