Tony Halme

A UFC vet who competed in MMA from 1995 to 1997, Halme was one of the most famous international figures to step into the Octagon. A noted pro-wrestler, he got his start in the UWF training under Verne Gagne. He went on to compete for New Japan Pro Wrestling, the WWF, and the CWA before retiring and entering MMA. After his brief MMA career he became a member of the Finnish parliament, serving from 2003 to 2007 for the True Finns independent party. Halme also authored a number of books, recorded an album, and had a seven year pro boxing career, amassing a 13-6 record.
