Gan McGee

UFC vet, active from 1999 to 2009. Prior to his MMA career he was a Division II wrestler for Cal Poly State University in San Luis Obispo, California. McGee started his career an impressive 12-1, with wins over Paul Buentello and Pedro Rizzo, and his lone loss coming to Josh Barnett. This was enough to earn him a shot at the UFC heavyweight title against TIm Sylvia. Silvia won by first round KO, and was subsequently stripped of the belt after testing positive for steroids. When the UFC refused to offer McGee a rematch he left the promotion. After two losses in Pride he took a three year hiatus. A TKO loss to Anthony Ruiz in 2009 effectively ended his career.
