Teila Tuli

Born Taylor Wiley, Teila Tuli had a short lived MMA career as the first fighter knocked out of the UFC 1 tournament. He was born in Hawaii, of Samoan descent, and as a sumo wrestler he wrestled under the name Takamishu. He became one of the first foreign born Sumo wrestlers to achieve tournament success in Japan. He mentored Akebono, also from Hawaii, when they were stablemates at the Azumazeki stable. After his fighting career he is also known for his role as Kamekona in the remake of the long running TV show Hawaii Five-0.
