Javier Vazquez
Javier Vazquez made the transition from a solid high school wrestling career to training in jiu jitsu and eventually into mixed martial arts. A 2002 win over Rumina Sato in Shooto put Vazquez on the map as a force. Since joining the WEC in 2009 "Showtime" is competing regularly for the first time since late 2007.
