Paddy Pimblett is taking home some extra cash after winning his UFC debut.
The popular Liverpudian lightweight was one of four different fighters to earn a $50,000 post-fight bonus at UFC Vegas 36. Pimblett scored a brutal knockout of Luigi Vendramini after overcoming some early adversity in his long-awaited octagon debut, which earned him a Performance of the Night nod. Pimblett’s memorable finish can be seen here.
The card’s other Performance of the Night bonus went to Pimblett’s countryman, heavyweight up-and-comer Tom Aspinall, who trucked through Serghei Spivac with a savage first-round finish started by a standing elbow to the head.
Aspinall’s emotional reaction to the news can be seen below.
Flyweights Molly McCann and Ji Yeon Kim were the evening’s final two bonus winners. Both women earned an additional $50,000 for their Fight of the Night brawl, which McMann won via unanimous decision.
