Lima and Page successfully made weight on Thursday ahead of their main event matchup at Friday’s Bellator 267 event. The card takes place at the SSE Arena in London with the main card airing on Showtime.
Lima, the former Bellator welterweight champion, was first on the scale and weighed in at 169.4 pounds. Page was next in line and hit championship weight on the nose at 170 pounds even.
“MVP” hopes to avenge the only loss of his pro career to Lima at Bellator 221 in May 2019, where he was knocked out in the second round. Since then, Page has five straight — finishing four of those victories — including a first-round TKO win over Derek Anderson in his most recent appearance at Bellator 258 in May.
Lima will look to snap a two-fight skid, which includes coming up short in his bid to become two-division champion against Gegard Mousasi at Bellator 250 in October, and losing his 170-pound title via unanimous decision to Yaroslav Amosov at June’s Bellator 260 event.
There were no hiccups during the proceedings as all 24 fighters successfully made weight, although the lightweight bout between Charlie Leary and Benjamin Brander was scratched due to COVID-19 protocols, promotion officials confirmed on Thursday.
