Ronda Rousey announces birth of daughter La’akea Makalapuaokalanipō Browne

Former UFC bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey is officially a mom.

Rousey on Monday announced the birth of her daughter with husband Travis Browne.

“La’akea Makalapuaokalanipō Browne,” Rousey, 34, posted on her official Instagram account.

Rousey announced in April that she was four months pregnant and expecting her first baby with Browne, whom she married in 2017. In June, the couple did a Pokemon-themed gender reveal and announced an expected due date of Sept. 22.

Rousey, who stepped away from MMA in 2016 after her second consecutive knockout loss, transitioned to a career in pro-wrestling withe WWE as well as film and television roles. She recently made headlines when she praised Conor McGregor’s post-UFC 264 outburst against three-time opponent Dustin Poirier.
