ONE Championship returned to Singapore Friday with a stacked lineup, topped by lightweight king Christian Lee opposite Ok Rae Yoon.

Yoon earned a shot at the lightweight gold following decision wins over Eddie Alvarez and Marat Gafurov earlier this year in ONE, and scored another close victory, winning the title via unanimous decision for South Korea after five hard-fought rounds.

Lee attempted takedowns early, but Yoon stuffed both shots. Lee ended up on his back, securing a standing rear-naked choke in the second stanza, but somehow Yoon escaped the attack.

Yoon hurt Lee on the feet with a right hand in round three, with Lee appearing to be in trouble before dropping Yoon shortly after with a massive right hand. Lee wobbled Yoon again in the final minute of the fifth round, which Yoon responded with a flying knee, but they went the distance. In the end, all three judges declared Yoon the new ONE lightweight champion.

"I have a lot of respect for Ok Rae Yoon," Lee said in his post-fight interview. "He’s a warrior, he’s a very tough fighter, but I won that fight. I have absolute respect for Ok Rae Yoon, but let’s bring it to the board. I want an instant rematch. That was bullshit. I won that fight. Bring it to the board, make that decision overturned, do whatever it takes to get a rematch."

Victoria Lee, the younger sister of ONE stars Christian and Angela Lee, improved to 2-0 as a professional MMA fighter with a second-round stoppage over previously unbeaten Victoria Souza, finishing the contest with punches and elbows on the ground.

Joshua Pacio put his strawweight title on the line in the second-to-last MMA fight of the card, and took Yosuke Saruta out in less than four minutes.

Pacio, who went 1-1 against Saruta in championship bouts in 2019, knocked the challenger down three times before a barrage of punches forced the referee to call it at 3:38 of the opening stanza.

Pacio is now 8-1 in his past nine, the only blemish being a split decision to Saruta.

Former two-division ONE champion Martin Nguyen was looking to bounce back from a knockout loss to Thanh Le entering his first fight in almost a year, but was no match for Kim Jae Woong. The South Korean talent dropped Nguyen with a perfect right counter, following up with four punches that left Nguyen out cold on the ground.

Amir Aliakbari also suffered a brutal loss in Singapore. The Iranian wrestler, a former RIZIN heavyweight, met undefeated Anatoly Malykhin in a heavyweight contest. Malykhin, now 10-0 in MMA, showed heavy hands to drop Aliakbari once before the devastating blow that knocked him unconscious.

The early portion of the card featured the MMA debut of Marcus “Buchecha” Almeida. The 13-time jiu-jitsu world champion and two-time ADCC gold medalist made short work of TUF veteran and kickboxing specialist Anderson “Braddock” Silva, tapping the heavyweight striker with a north-south choke inside the opening round (watch here).
