Jailton Almeida is wasting no time.

Signed by the UFC after submitting previously unbeaten Nasrudin Nasrudinov earlier this week at Dana White’s Contender Series, “Malhadinho” is set to make his UFC debut on Nov. 13 opposite fellow Brazilian light heavyweight Danilo Marques.

Multiple people with knowledge of the booking confirmed the news to MMA Fighting following a report from Combate.

Almeida (14-2), named of the top Brazilian prospects to watch in 2021 who touted himself as having a ”Khabib-style” game that “no one can stop,” is on a nine-fight winning streak that includes submission over UFC veterans Ednaldo Oliveira and Ildemar Alcantara in Brazil.

Marques (11-3) started his UFC run with back-to-back wins over Khadis Ibragimov and Mike Rodriguez before suffering a third-round knockout setback versus Kennedy Nzechukwu this past June.

The UFC has yet to officially announce which bout will headline the Fight Night show in Las Vegas. The lineup currently includes Ovince Saint Preux vs. Philipe Lins, Ben Rothwell vs. Marcos Rogerio de Lima, and Jessica Eye vs. Andrea Lee.
