UFC Vegas 37 is down to 14 fights.

Citing an undisclosed injury, UFC officials revealed Thursday evening that a scheduled lightweight scrap between Nikolas Motta and Cameron VanCamp won’t happen Saturday.

Motta (12-3) was making his UFC debut after earning a spot on the roster with a Contender Series victory late last year. He was originally scheduled to face Jim Miller, but Miller had to withdraw after a positive COVID-19 test.

This is the second time that Motta’s first UFC fight has been postponed as he was previously scheduled to fight Damir Hadzovic in May before withdrawing from that contest due to an injury. He also had a brush with the UFC in 2015 as a cast member on the fourth season of The Ultimate Fighter: Brazil. Motta is a former Cage Fury Fighting Championships lightweight champion.

VanCamp (15-5-1, 1 NC) was slated to make his UFC debut as well on the short-notice fight. He has won four straight fights.
