Jake Paul isn’t interested in fighting Anderson Silva next in boxing, but he’s got a wager to offer UFC president Dana White to let him face Jorge Masvidal instead.
Fresh off a win over ex-UFC champ Tyron Woodley to move his record to 4-0, Paul proposed a showdown against Masvidal for his next fight after he engaged in a war of words with the “BMF” champion through interviews and social media.
White answered that challenge following the latest episode of The Contender Series on Tuesday night by reminding Paul that Masvidal was under contract to the UFC but Silva was available for a fight after he demolished Tito Ortiz with a brutal knockout at the Triller Fight Club card this past weekend. Silva has now won two boxing matches in 2021 after vanquishing Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. back in June.
While it appears Paul isn’t taking the bait where Silva is concerned, he’s willing to make a counteroffer to White in order to make the Masvidal fight happen while also proposing another fight featuring a UFC star taking on a boxing champion.
“I want your star talent,” Paul said on social media in a post directed at White. “Your ‘in their prime’ strikers so I can exploit their lack of boxing ability. So let’s do this: me vs. Jorge Masvidal and Amanda Serrano vs. Amanda Nunes.
“If we win, you let any of your fighters fight me going forward. If we lose, I leave you and your exploitive business alone. Dana … Dana … Dana…?”

Serrano was recently featured in the co-main event on the card headlined by Paul against Woodley where she defeated Yamileth Mercado by unanimous decision to move her record to 41-1-1.
As for Nunes, she has jokingly offered to fight Paul in the past following a previous encounter where the 24-year-old Ohio native was trying to book a matchup against UFC superstar Conor McGregor and White said he would allow the two-division women’s champion to knock him out instead.
Paul has made it no secret that he wants to continue taking on top fighters from the UFC after bashing the boxing ability of MMA athletes during a recent appearance on The MMA Hour.
“I’m going to back-to-back-to-back on these b*tch ass MMA fighters,” Paul said. “Like, line them up, I will take all of them down.”
Paul also took to Instagram through his Most Valuable Promotions channel to once again call out Masvidal as well as White.
“Jorge, I got some millions for you to fight,” Paul said. “Is your daddy gonna let you come out? Is he gonna let you come out and play daddy Dana? F*cking b*tch. If he ever lets you out of that contract, I’m baptizing the f*ck out of you.”
It’s highly unlikely that White will accept Paul’s challenge, especially after suggesting the fight against Silva, who has looked better than ever since transitioning to boxing from MMA.
Paul hasn’t booked his next fight after winning a split decision over Woodley, although he’s stated that it’s possible he could return to action before the end of the year.
