Rafael Fiziev offers hilarious prediction for UFC 265 fight with Bobby Green

Rafael Fiziev has been a fan of Bobby Green since he got into the MMA space and is excited to share the octagon with the veteran lightweight this Saturday.

The 155-pound matchup between Fiziev and Green will serve as the featured preliminary bout of UFC 265, which will air on ESPN2. The event takes place at the Toyota Center in Houston and will be headlined by an interim heavyweight title fight between Derrick Lewis and Ciryl Gane.

Fiziev has a tremendous amount of respect for Green and feels quite confident he’ll get his hand raised. When asked for a prediction for the fight, Fiziev made sure he had all of his bases covered.

“Of course for me, [I want to] stand up and maybe he’ll take me down,” Fiziev told MMA Fighting. “That’s a good plan for him and I understand this to make me tired, maybe slow [me down].

“We’ll see, [but either] I win, or he loses.”

In an exclusive interview, “Ataman” joins MMA Fighting’s Mike Heck from Houston to preview his the matchup, talks his frustrations trying to find an opponent since stopping Renato Moicano at UFC 256 in December, the different names he and his team approached the UFC with that were all turned down according to the 28-year-old, a past run-in he had with Kevin Lee and his thoughts on Lee moving up to 170 pounds, training at Sanford MMA, the reaction to getting Green as an opponent, and more.
