Nate Marquardt reveals powerful dream that led to MMA return at Titan FC 71

Nate Marquardt’s return to the world of MMA competition began with a vivid dream and a message from something bigger than him.

The former Strikeforce champion and UFC title challenger will step into the cage for the first time in nearly four years when he faces former Dana White’s Contender Series alum Michael Cora at Titan FC 71. The event takes place at the InterContinental Hotel in Miami, Fla. and will stream on UFC Fight Pass.

The 42-year-old joined MMA Fighting’s Mike Heck for an in-depth conversation about the decision to end his retirement, explains how powerful the dream was that led to taking the first steps towards coming back, what he missed and didn’t miss about the business of mixed martial arts, how tapping into his spiritual side saved his marriage and changed his perspective, what he defines as success in regards to this upcoming run, training at Sanford MMA for this camp, and more.
