Paul vs. Woodley in Tweets: Fighters react to Jake Paul’s split decision over Tyron Woodley

Jake Paul extended his unbeaten pro boxing streak to 4-0 with a split decision over Tyron Woodley, who stung him and took him the distance but was unable to mount enough offense to convince all of the judges he won on Sunday.

With scores of 77-75 and 78-74, Paul didn’t knock out Woodley or turn him into a meme. Instead, he huffed through eight rounds with a tentative opponent who awoke in the fourth round with a right hand that sent him bouncing off the ropes. The important thing in the end was that Paul showed up, throwing more strikes and landing more frequently over eight rounds in the cruiserweight fight in Cleveland.

Paul continues to show up faded MMA stars and sets up a potential match with Tommy Fury, whose reality TV career and famous brother should provide another tentpole event for pay-per-view promoters.

Here’s what fighters had to say about the Paul vs. Woodley fight card.
