Yancy Medeiros and Justin Jaynes have both been cut from the UFC roster.

UFC officials confirmed the news to MMA fighting on Tuesday.

A frequent bonus winner throughout his UFC career, Medeiros faced a long list of tough opponents during his tenure with the promotion that dated back to his debut in 2013 after previously competing in Strikeforce.

During his time with the UFC, Medeiros clashed with the likes of Dustin Poirier, John Makdessi, Alex Oliveira, Donald “Cowboy” Cerrone and Erick Silva. He earned a total of five post-fight bonuses including three for Performance of the Night and two for Fight of the Night.

Unfortunately, Medeiros had fallen on hard times lately after dropping his past four fights in a row, which led to his exit from the UFC.

As for Jaynes, he also leaves the promotion on a four-fight losing streak after he initially joined the UFC for a short notice bout against Frank Camacho and made an immediate impact with a stunning 41-second knockout.

Jaynes then suffered a submission loss to Gavin Tucker before back-to-back TKO defeats to Gabriel Benitez and Devonte Smith.

In his most recent outing, Jaynes made headlines after he revealed he was betting his entire fight purse on a win but the ultimately suffered a razor-close split decision loss to Charles Rosa in what would be his final appearance in the UFC.
