A trio of title fights will headline the upcoming ONE Championship card on Sept. 24 including Christian Lee putting his lightweight belt up for grabs against Rae Yoon Ok.
ONE Championship CEO Chatri Sityodtong announced the lineup of fights headlining the card on Tuesday.
Since moving to lightweight, Lee has been a dominant force in ONE Championship while rattling off six straight wins including stoppage victories over Shinya Aoki, Iuri Lapicus and Timofey Nastyukhin.
The 23-year-old lightweight has only gone to decision one time during that run while knocking off many of the top fighters in his division after starting his career with ONE Championship as a featherweight.
On Sept. 24, he’ll face off with a rising star in Ok after he vanquished former UFC champion Eddie Alvarez by unanimous decision in his most recent outing.
Ok hurt Alvarez badly in the opening round and it appeared he was going to get a finish but the veteran lightweight found a way to survive and stick around until the final bell. Now Ok will look to capitalize on that win while seeking his first title in ONE Championship.
Also taking place on the upcoming card will be a strawweight title fight as Joshua Pacio faces off with Yosuke Saruta in a trilogy showdown after splitting their previous two meetings.
Pacio lost his ONE title to Saruta in their first fight after dropping a split decision back in 2018 but the Filipino born strawweight avenged that defeat with a stunning head kick knockout less than a year later.
Now the strawweights will meet for a third time with the ONE title on the line.
The final title fight announced for the ONE: Revolution card on Sept. 24 will feature bantamweight kickboxing champion Capitan Petchyindee Academy defending his belt against Medhi Zatout after he’s earned back-to-back wins in the promotion.
