Back at bantamweight, Julio Arce took out fellow southpaw Andre Ewell with a flurry of punches in the second round of their UFC Vegas 32 prelim bout.
Ewell smiled after taking a hard right hand late into the middle frame. But he wobbled backward, and when Arce followed up with several more shots, he stopped responding and covered up, prompting ref Chris Tognoni to call off the bout at the 3:45 mark of the second.
Check out the finish below.

Ewell appeared to protest the decision as Tognoni intervened. But it was the second time Arce had visibly hurt him after a left hand send him spinning in the first. Arce showed the patience of a professional and didn’t burn himself out looking for the finish.
In his return to 135 pounds, Arce returns to the win column after a split decision loss to Hakeem Dawodu at UFC 244. He now stands at 4-2 in the octagon, while Ewell continues to slide after a decision loss to Chris Gutierrez at UFC 258.
