On this week’s episode of What the Heck, MMA Fighting’s Mike Heck speaks with UFC bantamweight Kris Moutinho (7:16) to recap his Fight of the Night bonus earning performance against Sean O’Malley at UFC 264 this past Saturday night in Las Vegas, discusses his first UFC fight week, the staredown with O’Malley after the ceremonial weigh-in, not being in as much trouble as people thought at the end of the first round, what he was saying to O’Malley and his coach Tim Welch during the fight, Herb Dean’s decision to stop the fight with less than 30 seconds left, and more.

Philadelphia-based pro MMA fighter Eugene Aubry (31:42) shares his story about walking home from work at his gym and having his life changed forever, talks how long he was in a medically induced coma and hospitalized, being able to beat the ventilator and speak after around a month, what he misses the most since the incident, what he would say to his attacker if he had the chance, and the stem cell procedure he is about to get in hopes to be able to walk again.

Finally, former UFC heavyweight champion and current Bellator fighter Josh Barnett (56:54) discusses his reaction to finding out that Fedor Emelianenko was returning to action in Moscow on Oct. 23, why he feels it’s his fight above anybody else, the support the fans have given him to get the bout, Jake Hager stating his claim for the matchup, what his plan for the rest of the year might be if the fight doesn’t come through for him, and more.
