Jake Paul had a front-row seat for Conor McGregor’s loss to Dustin Poirier at UFC 264, and he wasted no time celebrating the former two-division champ’s brutal loss.
Paul attended Saturday’s pay-per-view event at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas and immediately sounded off on McGregor’s second straight loss to Poirier and the grisly ankle injury McGregor suffered that led to the fight being called at the end of the first round due to a doctor’s stoppage.
It was Paul’s second trip to a UFC event since cementing himself as a certified boxing draw. He also attended UFC 261 and was confronted by ex-champ and UFC commentator Daniel Cormier.
There was no such confrontation with McGregor – or at least one that cameras picked up. In commissioning a necklace of McGregor’s UFC 257 loss to Poirier, Paul teased the Irish star that he’d take a previously offered $50 million boxing payout off the table.
With McGregor’s loss still hanging in the air, Paul wrote, “My new offer for Conor McGregor is $23 dollars.”
SLEEPY MCGREGOR !!
