Rozenstruik is the No. 6 ranked fighter in the UFC’s heavyweight rankings. After an aggressive ascent in his early octagon career, with four straight knockout wins, he has struggled against top-tier fighters. A quick knockout loss to current champ Francis Ngannou took him out of the immediate title run, and after a rebound against Junior Dos Santos, he was outpointed by Ciryl Gane in his most recent appearance in February.
Sakai’s schedule has been less active, with only two appearance since the pandemic began. The Contender Series vet was also on the upward trajectory, winning his first four bouts. But in his most recent appearance this past September, he was stopped by Alistair Overeem. At No. 9, he stands to benefit most from a win.
