Harris is the No. 8 ranked heavyweight in the promotional rankings, but comes into the bout on a two-fight losing skid with both losses by stoppage in the second round. Most recently, he suffered a TKO loss against Alexander Volkov, which came after another TKO setback against Alistair Overeem. Harris previously was on a 3-0-1 run before a widely publicized personal tragedy involving his family.
Despite a four-fight winning streak, Tybura enters the bout as the No. 11 fighter in the rankings, giving him the bigger upside with a win. Most recently, he took on Greg Hardy and put away the former NFLer by second-round TKO. His other three wins – over Serghei Spivak, Maxim Grishin and Ben Rothwell – came by way of decision.
