It’s unclear where the incident took place or exactly when it happened but the video shows Schilling attempting to move past the bar patron, who was standing in the middle of a walkway while talking to friends.
Schilling attempts to move past him, which then leads to the altercation as the patron appears to step towards the veteran kickboxer, which then leads to punches being thrown in succession.
The bar patron hits the ground as Schilling turns and walks away with other people rushing into check on the man after he was knocked out.
Schilling posted the video on his Instagram account but it was later taken down, which prompted a response from the kickboxer and mixed martial artist.
“Self-defense is apparently not what this country is about anymore,” Schilling wrote. “Don’t trip, I got the video. Love you guys, thanks for the concern and support during my life threatening experience. Big shout out to The Yard Muay Thai for preparing me for this life threatening situation.”
The end of the post featured a hashtag that said “f*ck racists.”
In a separate post on his Instagram stories, Schilling appears to address the incident again while adding “if you think I’m going to be the guy to calm everything down, you got me f*cked up. I’m here for the show.”
At this time it’s unknown if police were involved in the situation or where the incident even took place, although Schilling has recently been training out of Sanford MMA, which is located in Deerfield Beach, Fla.
