Aaron Pico may have put forth his best effort yet on Friday night.
Pico used a relentless pace from the opening second of his main card fight with Aiden Lee to secure a third-round anaconda choke submission victory at Bellator 260.
Pico and Lee didn’t waste any time getting after it. Both fighters were aggressive early, Pico landed a quick takedown and Lee got back to his feet. Every time Lee threw a punch, Pico timed it perfectly and took his opponent down, answering with relentless transitions, ground and pound, and submission attempts, which left Lee with a nasty cut above his eye after the opening round.
@AaronPicoUSA straight in with the takedown!

The grappling pressure continued on through the first three minutes of the second as Pico nearly caught Lee in an anaconda choke, but the English fighter showed his toughness and survived to the third despite being thoroughly dominated. Pico continued his dominance in the third round, landing brutal knees to the body of Lee before getting the tap with an anaconda choke.
