Although a date and venue are expected to be revealed later this week, betting site SportsBook.ag currently lists the YouTube star and undefeated pro boxer as a -160 favorite. The comeback on Woodley is currently at +130.
The opening line saw Paul as a slight favorite at -130 but money has come in over the last 24 hours to extend the favorite line.
Paul is now 3-0 as a pro boxer with his two notable KO wins coming against former NBA guard Nate Robinson in November, as well as his most recent first-round stoppage of former Bellator and ONE champ Ben Askren at the Triller Fight Club event in April.
Woodley served as a cornerman for Askren in his teammate’s pro boxing debut and has since called for his opportunity to face Paul inside the squared circle. “The Chosen One” is no longer under contract with the UFC following a four-fight losing streak, which includes losing his title to Kamaru Usman, and subsequent defeats against Gilbert Burns, Colby Covington and Vicente Luque.
The bout between Paul and Woodley will take place on Showtime pay-per-view.
