If Michael Page keeps performing like he did on Friday night, another shot at Douglas Lima could be in the cards sooner rather than later.
“Venom” scored his fifth straight win at Bellator 258 at Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Conn., dominating his 175-pound catchweight matchup with Derek Anderson and all but ending the fight with a head kick that connected cleanly with the front of Anderson’s face. The sturdy Anderson made it to end of the first round, but would go no further as the ringside physician determined that his nose was in no shape to continue and the bout was called off in between rounds.
Check out the perfectly timed head kick below:

With the finish, Page (19-1) became the first fighter to finish Anderson (17-4, 1 NC) via strikes.
If there was any question that Anderson might have been able to continue, even a cursory look at his nose would likely shut down that discussion.

After the fight, Page praised Anderson’s toughness, and called for a rematch with Lima, who handed Page the only loss of his career at Bellator 221 two years ago.
Page didn’t actually say Lima’s name, but when prompted by in-ring interviewer John McCarthy, Page suggested that he might face Jason Jackson next to earn a shot at the winner of Lima’s upcoming title defense against Yaroslav Amosov at Bellator 260 on June 11.
