In the main event, Alvarez and Saunders will have to make the super middleweight championship limit of 168 pounds. WBA, WBC and The Ring super middleweight champion Alvarez will earn a guaranteed $15 million - and possibly $35 million for the fight with pay-per-view sales - while WBO super middleweight champion Saunders could possibly earn up to $5 million for the fight.
Canelo Alvarez’s record is 55-1-2 with 37 knockouts, while Saunders’ record is 30-0 with 14 knockouts.
