UFC 264 has added two exciting welterweights to the lineup.
The promotion announced Thursday that Michel Pereira (25-11, 2 NC) and Niko Price (14-4, 2 NC) will fight at the July 10 pay-per-view at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
The bout was first reported by Ag. Fight.
Known for his in-cage gymnastics, Pereira has been getting results too, defeating Khaos Williams and Zelim Imadaev in his past two outings. “Demolidor” made a spectacular debut with the UFC in May 2019, knocking Danny Roberts out in under two minutes before dropping back-to-back fights to Tristan Connelly and Diego Sanchez (the latter by disqualification after landing an illegal knee).
Price’s results have been all over the place recently, with a majority draw against Donald Cerrone in his most recent fight being overturned to a no contest after Price tested positive for marijuana. That gives him just one win in his past four fights, that win being a first-round knockout of James Vick back in September 2019.
UFC 264 will be headlined by a trilogy bout between Dustin Poirier and Conor McGregor.
