The stars are coming out for Floyd Mayweather’s exhibition boxing bout with Logan Paul.

Mayweather and Paul are set to meet in the ring on June 6 at a pay-per-view event in Miami promoted by Showtime Sports. On Wednesday, the broadcast team was announced via a press release and it features a number of notable names.

Popular talk show hosts and comedians Desus and Mero will be part of the broadcast, providing commentary throughout the evening, while Showtime Championship Boxing host Brian Custer will oversee the event.

At the commentary desk will be veteran combat sports play-by-play man Mauro Ranallo, longtime analyst Al Bernstein, and former three-division boxing champion Abner Mares.

Handling the in-ring announcing will be Jimmy Lennon Jr., best known in MMA as the announcer for Strikeforce, and former UFC heavyweight-turned-comedian Brendan Schaub. Schaub’s role is described as “roving reporter.”

The June 6 event (titled Bragging Rights) will be preceded by a behind-the-scenes look program Inside Mayweather vs. Paul, which will air a week prior on May 29. See a promo for that show below.

Mayweather steps back into the ring for the first time since a Dec. 31, 2018, exhibition bout against Japanese kickboxing star Tenshin Nasukawa in Saitama. He has not competed professionally since defeating UFC star Conor McGregor by 10th-round TKO in August 2017, a win that improved Mayweather’s record to 50-0.

Paul competes in boxing for just the third time. The YouTube star fought to a majority draw in his amateur debut against fellow YouTuber KSI in August 2018, then lost in his pro debut in November 2019 by split decision in a rematch with KSI.
