A matchup between Aaron Pico and Aiden Lee has a new date.
MMA Fighting confirmed with officials that Pico (7-3) and Lee (9-4) will meet in a featherweight bout at Bellator 260 on June 11 at Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Conn. The bout was first reported by ESPN.
Pico and Lee were initially in talks to fight at Bellator 257 in April, but the bout was postponed due to Pico having medical issues, according to Bellator President Scott Coker.
In his most recent fight in November, Pico defeated John de Jesus by second-round knockout to pick up his third straight victory. The 24-year-old has competed exclusively for Bellator since turning pro in 2017 and all of his wins have come by finish, with six by KO/TKO and one by submission.
Lee competes in the United States for the first time after appearing on three European Bellator cards. He is 2-1 in the promotion so far and is coming off of back-to-back finishes of Jeremy Petley and Damian Frankiewicz. The 26-year-old Englishman has also competed for Cage Warriors, where he holds a notable win over current UFC fighter Ludovit Klein.
Bellator 260 will be headlined by a welterweight title bout between champion Douglas Lima and unbeaten challenger Yaroslav Amosov.
