The UFC returns on the first Saturday in June with a six-fight main card at the APEX in Las Vegas.
During Saturday night’s UFC Vegas 27 broadcast, the main card was revealed for the promotion’s next offering on June 5. UFC Vegas 28 features a main event in the heavyweight division between Jairzinho Rozenstruik and Augusto Sakai.
The co-main event will also take place at heavyweight as Walt Harris looks to get back on track against the surging Marcin Tybura, who looks to make it five straight victories after a 4-0 campaign in 2020. An exciting welterweight matchup between Santiago Ponzinibbio and Miguel Baeza was also made official.
One empty piece of the fight card was filled, while another remains a mystery. After Alessio Di Chirico was scratched with an injury, Roman Dolidze will remain on the card and face replacement Laureano Staropoli.
Saturday’s broadcast also revealed that Maki Pitolo will no longer compete at the event and the promotion is actively seeking a replacement for Dusko Todorovic in a middleweight matchup.
Here is the main card for UFC Vegas 28, which kicks off at 7 p.m. ET on ESPN+:
Jairzinho Rozenstruik vs. Augusto Sakai
Walt Harris vs. Marcin Tybura
Roman Dolidze vs. Laureano Staropoli
