Reyes vs. Prochazka took place May 1 at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas, Nev. Jiri Prochazka (28-3-1) and Dominick Reyes (12-3) collided in a light heavyweight contest in the event’s main event, which aired live on ESPN 2 and ESPN+ Catch more video highlights below.

Round 1

Reyes comes out in southpaw and Prochazka is orthodox stance, though that phrase does not describe Prochazka well, whatsoever. His hands are by his knees and Reyes is leading with kicks to try and take advantage of that fact. Prochazka has been able to get his hands up in time but that style will never not be risky.

Prochazka steps in with a good combo that gets Reyes’ attention and the former title challenger fires back with his own combo. Reyes now pressing the action and eats a big right cross from Prochazka that wobbles Reyes!

Reyes stepping back but he’s got his legs underneath him and Prochazka isn’t forcing the issue, especially because Reyes cracks him with a straight right hand. Prochazka steps back in and this time Reyes grabs double underhooks and gets a takedown!

Reyes is on top but he’s having trouble establishing position and after a little bit of time there, Prochazka just bullies his way back to the feet.

On he feet and chaos ensues! Prochazka cracks Reyes and he’s clerly hurt and playing major defense and this time, Prochazka is coming in with violence.! Mixing up his shots and trying to find the punch that will put Reyes down for good. Head kick from Prochazka barely misses and Reyes steps off on and angle and lands a clean left counter. It only stalls Prochazka momentarily though and Jiri is all over him.

Prochazka is landing big combos to the body and head and Reyes is force to defend from all angles. He’s got his feet under him but he’s getting clacked all over. Reyes still in this though and throwing back but he has not been able to get Prochazka off him. Relentless pressure from Prochazka and Reyes’ chin is doing God’s work in there right now as it keeps him standing until the horn sounds.

Round 2

Reyes’s nose is bleeding profusely and it seems very likely that his nose has be broken once again. He’s a bloody mess to start the second and Prochazka is looking fresh as a daisy. Reyes still looks pretty good from a condition standpoint considering he just get tooled up for two minutes straight.

Reyes looking to establish range a little better bit honestly, it seems like he can’t hurt Prochazka. He’s landed clean and Jiri is just eating it all without issue.

Now Prochazka seems to have decided this is true and he is marching Reyes down without fear, inciting exchanged and winning them. Prochazka is landing big shots and Reyes is again on the retreat and trying to find moment to breathe.

Reyes cracks Prochazka with a big counter that wobbles Prochazka! Super clean shot finally cracks the skull of the Prochazka and now Reyes steps in to find a kill shot. Prochazka ducks under for a takedown and Reyes grabs a guillotine and jumps guard!

The choke is in but Prochazka is able to pop his head out eventually and now he’s on top and landing big shots. Reyes is scrambling and Prochazka is battering him! The tables have turned and Reyes is again in trouble. He scrambles to his feet and runs away and Prochazka is all over him. Reyes is against the fence and Prochazka throws a big elbow that misses, but he then keeps the momentum going and spins with a back elbow that LANDS CLEAN AND FACEPLANTS REYES! WHAT A FINISH, WHAT A DAMN FIGHT
