All the listed fighters are coming off two or more consecutive losses.
Sanders and Kish had the most UFC experience of the released fighters, with Sanders compiling a 3-5 record competing primarily in the promotion’s bantamweight division, and Kish a 3-4 record competing at 125 pounds.
The news of Piechota’s release comes in the same week that the middleweight was handed a USADA suspension that will last until July 2022.
Bhullar and Cruz were both winless in two UFC appearances, while Griffin was just 1-4 in his five UFC appearances.
Fabinski and Birchak both competed six times for the UFC, with Fabinski going 3-3 and Birchak going 2-4.
De Castro, a 2019 Contender Series veteran, went 1-3 in the UFC’s heavyweight division.
