A change has been made to Saturday’s UFC 262 fight card with a middleweight fight between Jack Hermansson and Edmen Shahbazyan being moved to the UFC event on May 22 instead.
Multiple sources confirmed the switch to MMA Fighting on Monday with Shahbayzan also posting about the change for the fight on Twitter. The news was first reported by MMA DNA.
I guess we wait another week... May 22 here we come! Back to Vegas!

At this time, no reason has been given for the change of dates and the UFC has not yet made any official announcements regarding the move.
Both Hermansson and Shahbayzan are looking to get back into the win column after recent losses.
For Hermansson, he’ll look to bounce back following a five-round decision loss to Marvin Vettori in his most recent outing while Shahbayzan returns from the first defeat of his professional career when he fell to Derek Brunson last year.
With Hermansson vs. Shahbazyan moving to the card on May 22, the UFC 262 event on Saturday night is down to 11 total bouts. The middleweight fight was supposed to take place on the main card, which means one of the preliminary matchups will now get shifted to the pay-per-view portion of the show starting at 10 p.m. ET on Saturday night.
As for the new date, Hermansson vs. Shahbazyan joins a card headlined by former bantamweight champion Cody Garbrandt taking on Rob Font in the main event.
