This is the UFC 261 live blog for Uriah Hall vs. Chris Weidman, a middleweight main card bout on Saturday’s fight card at VyStar Veterans Memorial Arena in Jacksonville, Fla.

Hall is enjoying the second three-fight winning streak of his UFC career. This time, the runner-up of The Ultimate Fighter 17 added a serious name to his resume with a fourth-round stoppage of ex-middleweight kingpin Anderson Silva. In previous outings, he outpointed Antonio Carlos Junior and Bevon Lewis.

The matchup with ex-champ Weidman, the first man to dethrone Silva in the octagon, rebooks a celebrated fight on the East Coast regional circuit from 2010. In that meeting, Weidman captured the first title of his MMA career with a first-round TKO that earned him the Ring of Combat belt. Weidman’s career as of late has been far more rocky, with the ex-champ saving his octagon career by outpointing Omari Akhmedov to get back in the win column after a disastrous 1-5 skid.
