Round 1
Woodley starts very quickly! Marches across the cage, throws a haymaker and clinches Luque! That’s different. Woodley gets Luque up against the fence but can’t finish the takedown and now Luque reverses position and he’s using his head well to control Woodley.
Luque keeping the pressure against Woodley on the fence and chipping away with knees and now Woodley spins him and they get out to space. In space, Woodley is throwing heat! This could be fun if Woodley really is back and he’s swinging with aggression. Nothing big lands clean though and Woodley clinches again.
In the clinch, Luque is improbably winning these positions and putting Woodley against the fence though. There he’s chipping away but they get back to space and Woodley cracks him!
Luque is hurt! And Woodley is swinging! LUQUE HURTS WOODLEY!!! THIS IS CHAOS. WOODLEY IS ON SKATES BUT HE’S THROWING BACK AND LUQUE IS TRYING TO FIND THE KILL SHOT.
He can’t land it but Woodley is still in a world of trouble, stumbling everywhere. Luque cannot find the finishing shot though and Woodley is trying to throw back! Woodley shoots and Luque now has a front headlock. He goes for the D’Arce against the fence and Woodley is in trouble! There’s the tap! That was nuts!
