Saturday’s middleweight headliners were on point, but the official weigh-ins also featured a frightening scene on the scale.
Derek Brunson (186) and Kevin Holland (183) successfully made weight for Saturday’s UFC Vegas 22 main event, which features the top-10 contenders battling to stay in the mix for a future middleweight title shot.

However, the talk of Friday morning was bantamweight Julija Stoliarenko, who is off of Saturday’s card after fainting at the weigh-ins.
Stoliarenko attempted to weigh in twice for her scheduled bout with Julia Avila, fainting and stumbling off of the scale on both occasions, but successfully making weight (135.5 pounds) on the second try. However, she was stretchered out following the second attempt and her bout with Avila was subsequently cancelled.

One other fighter missed weight, UFC newcomer Jesse Strader who came in at 137.5 pounds for a scheduled bantamweight bout. His opponent Montel Jackson successfully weighed in at 136 pounds (including one-pound allowance for non-title bouts.)
Strader forfeits 20 percent of his purse to Jackson and the bout will proceed at a catchweight.
