ONE Championship: Fists of Fury 3 videos, results: Hiroshi Minowa tops former champ Alex Silva

The latest ONE Championship pre-recorded show aired Friday morning from the Singapore Indoor Stadium, and rising strawweight talent Hiroshi Minowa made a statement.

The MMA portion of the card was headlined by Minowa versus former ONE strawweight champion Alex Silva, and Brazil’s “Little Rock” attacked “Hiroba” from all angles in the first couple of rounds on the ground, attempting heel hooks, kneebars and an omoplata that forced Minowa to work and defend.

Minowa pushed the pace in the final stanza, hurting Silva with punches on the feet and on the ground to convince two judges to score him the victory, winning via split decision. The former Shooto strawweight champion is now 2-0 under the ONE Championship banner with a pair of split decisions.

Two of the first three MMA bouts of the night ended via submission, with Jennifer Olsim and Roshan Mainam tapping Maira Mazar and Aziz Calim with chokes, respectively.
