MMA Fighting has PFL Championship 2021 weigh-in video for Wednesday’s event at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Hollywood, Fla.
Six PFL tournament champions will be crowned in the heavyweight, light heavyweight, welterweight, men’s lightweight, women’s lightweight, and featherweight divisions.
In the women’s lightweight championship main event, undefeated Kayla Harrison fights Taylor Guardado. They will have to make the lightweight limit of 155 pounds (with no one-pound allowance).
In the welterweight co-main event, Magomed Magomedkerimov meets 2019 champion Ray Cooper III in a rematch from the 2018 PFL Finals. Magomedkerimov defeated Cooper in 2018, but an injury forced him out of the following year’s playoffs.
Magomedkerimov and Cooper must make the welterweight limit of 170 pounds (with no one-pound allowance).
Boxing star Claressa Shields also competes on the main card in a non-tournament lightweight bout against Abigail Montes. This will be Shields’ second MMA bout. She and Montes must make the lightweight limit of 155 pounds (with one-pound allowance for a non-title bout).
