Bellator light heavyweight champ Vadim Nemkov retained his title and advanced to the finals of the Bellator light heavyweight grand prix at Bellator 268. He also took home the fight card’s biggest payday.
According to salaries released by the Arizona Department of Gaming, which oversaw the Oct. 16 event in Phoenix, Nemkov earned a disclosed $250,000 for his stoppage win over Julius Anglickas at Footprint Center. The Russian champ will face Corey Anderson, who in the co-main stopped heavyweight champ Ryan Bader, in the grand prix finals.
Nemkov was one of five fighters to take home six-figure payouts from the event. The salaries, which do not include discretionary or sponsorship bonuses, were first reported by MMA Junkie.
