Another one of Saturday’s fights has been saved.

MMA Fighting’s Mike Heck and Damon Martin confirmed with sources with knowledge of the change that Zviad Lazishvili will step in on three days’ notice as a replacement for Aaron Phillips to fight Jonathan Martinez (13-4) at UFC Vegas 41. The change was first reported by mma.ideas.

On Tuesday, it was reported that Mason Jones also received a new opponent on less than a week’s notice, newcomer David Onama.

Lazishvili (12-0) is coming off of a first-round submission win over Ricky Steele in September of last year that earned him a vacant Legacy Fighting Alliance bantamweight title. The 29-year-old Georgian (currently fighting out of Washington, D.C.) was to make his UFC debut against Jack Shore this past September, but was forced to withdraw for undisclosed reasons.

Martinez, 27, is 2-3 in the UFC’s bantamweight division and 4-3 in the UFC overall. In his most recent fight, he suffered a second-round knockout loss to Davey Grant at UFC Vegas 21 in March. That loss snapped a two-fight win streak for Martinez, which included wins over veterans Thomas Almeida and Frankie Saenz.
