Referee Dan Miragliotta called for a replay from the Nevada Athletic Commission’s replay official even before Daukaus sunk in a rear-naked choke in the wake of the accidental foul, which briefly knocked out Holland and sent him scrambling for survival.
After a few moments, Miragliotta, the sole arbiter of the contest, ruled that the headbutt invalidated Daukaus’ submission and declared the bout a no-contest at the 3:43 mark of the first round.

Flo fighters fight bro, we’re trained, we get hurt we fight. Unfortunately the blow that hurt was a unintentional clash of heads. Last week merab was knocked out but kept going. Difference is he got hit with legal shot. Kyle did what he was supposed to do and won but illegal. https://t.co/2ywQQyxXOJ— Daniel Cormier (@dc_mma) October 3, 2021
