Maria Henderson made quick work of her opponent at Bellator 268 in advance of her husband Benson Henderson’s meeting with Brent Primus.
In the first fight of the night, Maria Henderson needed just 40 seconds to take down opponent Collette Santiago and cinch a rear-naked choke for her second win as an amateur. After a body-lock takedown, Henderson quickly advanced and gained back control before wrapping her arm around Santiago’s neck.

Maria Henderson is now 2-0 as an amateur, while Santiago remains winless in the cage after three fights. Benson Henderson, meanwhile, looks for redemption after back-to-back losses in his most recent appearances in Bellator.
