Updated UFC Fight Island 8 poster released, featuring Michael Chiesa vs. Neil Magny

New main event, new poster.

On Thursday, the UFC released its official poster for UFC Fight Island 8, which takes place on Jan. 20 in Abu Dhabi and will be headlined by a five-round welterweight bout between Michael Chiesa and Neil Magny.

Chiesa and Magny were promoted to the main event spot following the removal of the originally scheduled headliner between Leon Edwards and Khamzat Chimaev. Chimaev withdrew from the card due the lingering effects of COVID-19 and it remains to be seen if his bout with Edwards will be rescheduled.

UFC Fight Island 8 airs live on ESPN+ on Jan. 20, with early preliminaries scheduled to begin at 12 p.m. ET.
