Dana White confirms UFC 259 will take place in Las Vegas

The UFC is bringing a championship triple-header to Las Vegas in March.

According to UFC President Dana White in an Instagram post, UFC 259 will take place at the UFC APEX on March 6. White announced the news in conjunction with a contest the UFC has launched giving an opportunity for one lucky fan and a guest to attend the event as the only fans in the building.

The card will be the first of two PPV events for the month and is headlined by a light heavyweight title fight as Jan Blachowicz defends for the first time against current middleweight champ Israel Adesanya.

Additionally, the women’s featherweight title is on the line as Amanda Nunes defends against first-time title challenger Megan Anderson. The trifecta of championship bouts will kick off with Petr Yan’s first defense of his newly won bantamweight title against No. 1 contender Aljamain Sterling.
